Therapy Sessions
& Logistics

All sessions are virtual (telehealth). I currently see clients who are physically located in New Jersey at the time of the appointment.

Intake is typically 60 minutes; ongoing sessions are about 55 minutes. Many clients start weekly, then adjust as needed.

A private space, a reliable internet connection, and a smartphone or computer with camera/mic. Headphones can improve privacy.

No. I can only provide therapy to clients physically in New Jersey at the time of session.

Please provide 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no‑shows may be charged the full session fee.
Insurance & Payment

I am in-network with Aetna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield (HBCBS), Cigna, and Optum. Please contact your insurance company to confirm coverage for outpatient mental health/telehealth services. If you have another carrier, I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Therapy Process & Expectations

We’ll review your concerns and history, clarify goals, and create an initial plan based on my therapeutic approach. You’ll leave with next steps or a small skill to try between sessions.

When helpful. Short, doable practices (CBT/DBT/mindfulness) can speed progress between sessions.

Yes. Your privacy is protected by law and ethics. There are standard exceptions for safety (risk of harm to self/others), abuse/neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult, or when required by a valid court order. I’ll review these limits with you.
Crisis & Emergencies

This practice does not provide emergency services. If you’re in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), dial 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
